• Mukilteo Terminal Status - One Hour Wait for Drivers, Late Vessels

  There is an estimated one hour wait for drivers departing the Mukilteo terminal. The vessels are running an estimated 15 minutes behind schedule. • Expect delays on State Route 20 south of Anacortes Aug 17- Sept 4

  Reminder - If you travel on State Route 20 between Anacortes and Whidbey Island, expect delays starting at 6 a.m. Monday, Aug. 17 through 6 p.m. on Friday, Sept. 4. The highway will be reduced to one lane of alternating traffic 24 hours/day at Campbell Lake Road, while crews work on an intersection improvement project [https://wsdot.wa.gov/construction-planning/search-projects/sr-20-campbell-lake-road-intersection-improvements]. 

• WSDOT paving project on SR 525

  A paving project on State Route 525 between Paine Field and the Mukilteo Ferry Terminal (project map [https://wsdot.wa.gov/sites/default/files/2026-04/SR525-map-Spurto2ndpaving.png]) began Tuesday, July 28 and will last through the end of the year. Travelers can expect single-lane closures, alternating traffic and pedestrian detours using city roads.
