Update - The #1 Yakima is running an estimated 35 minutes behind schedule for the 8:15 p.m. sailing from Anacortes to Friday Harbor. This also delays the 9:50 p.m. all-stops from Friday Harbor to Orcas, Shaw, Lopez, and Anacortes. Service during the San Juan County Fair, Aug. 13-16
Expect delays and long lines on the Anacortes/San Juan Islands route leading up to and during the San Juan County Fair [https://www.sanjuancountywa.gov/1957/The-Fair], Aug. 13–16, especially on the interisland route. If possible, travel earlier in the week or after the fair. To accommodate livestock trailers and vendors on the last day of the fair, we’re limiting reservation space on the 9:50 p.m. sailing from Friday Harbor to Anacortes on Sunday, Aug. 16. We’re also preparing for increased traffic by adding extra crew to the interisland vessel and coordinating with other transportation providers to quickly move crew between islands if needed.
